NPT 100 Trail Mix & Tunes Celebration

Northville-Placid Trail 100th Anniversary Celebration

Join us in celebrating this historic event!

When: Saturday, August 24 from 1- 7 pm

Where: The Inn on Piseco Lake ~ The Irondequoit ~ 471 Old Piseco Rd, Piseco, NY 12139

What: There will be live music, food, vendors, activities, and crafts for kids- balsam bags, build a pinecone, decorate your own walking stick, demonstrations, info tables, and a special appearance by Smokey Bear!

           Education Tables: ADK Mountain Club, DEC, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Hamilton County Soil & Water Conservation, Hamilton Co Public Health.

           Young Entrepreneurs: We are looking to showcase our young entrepreneurs- if your child/youth is crafty, bakes, or makes items they would like to sell and are interested in being a part of the YE vendor table call 518-548-3076 and we will be glad to add them!

           Demonstrations (down at the beach): SUP paddle board demonstrations and mini lessons by Sandra of Speculator SUP

           Corn Hole Tournament: $10/per team to enter registration starts at 1 pm, tournament starts at 2:30 pm. Proceeds will go to the The Alexander John "AJ" Smullen Scholarship Fund – a scholarship for higher education in an outdoor career.

Special Appearances: Smokey Bear from 1:30 - 3 pm & Big Foot

The passing of the commemorative NPT 100 walking stick ceremony @ 3:45 pm

S'mores, campfire, and music will close out the evening!  5 - 7 p.m.  Bring a chair and don't forget your bug spray!

Hike-a-ton- Registration is now closed.

Hike for a cause along the NPT with three sections to choose from! A portion of the proceeds will be presented to The Alexander John "AJ" Smullen Scholarship Fund – a scholarship for higher education in an outdoor career.
