The Wild Center presents the annual Adirondack Author's Night in honor of Lorretto E. Hosley.

Adirondack Author's Night is an evening filled with opportunities for authors to engage with the community by showcasing and offering their books for sale. Lorrie Hosley and Hoss's Country Corner hosted Hoss's Author's Night for 40 years. Lorrie absolutely loved reading and whole-heartedly enjoyed sharing her passion for books and the Adirondacks with her community. She believed in the immense value of readers having the chance to talk to authors, ask questions, and engage directly. Similarly, she cherished giving authors the opportunity to meet and connect with their readers.

Adirondack Author's Night has always been a wonderful community event, and The Wild Center is dedicated to keeping the spirit and values of this event alive.
